Alia Aizenstat Adlakha, LMFT, Clinical Director
I help individuals, couples, families and youth deepen and grow in their relationships to thrive emotionally, physically and mentally.
I have specialized and work with anxiety, depression, EMDR, internet addiction, relationships, dream work, body image, mindfulness and improving self-esteem. My approach to psychotherapy is strength-based, person-centered and rooted in depth psychology. I consider my therapeutic style to be warm, interactive, and empathetic. I pride myself in my integrity, authenticity, and perseverance; expect to be treated with care, respect, and non-judgment.
I have been additionally trained in EMDR trauma therapy with an attachment focus, in Acceptance Commitment Therapy with founder Steven Hayes, am a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT-440, have studied and practice mindfulness, and hold a certificate in Social and Organizational Leadership. I am a published author and the created of the Virtual Identities Integration Treatment Model and teach digital responsibility. I have taught at the junior high, high school, and graduate school levels.
Melinda Wood, ASW
Melinda earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and practices as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW). She is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their authentic selves. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting stress, identity exploration, and self-worth concerns.
Melinda’s approach is warm, relational, and grounded in genuine human connection. Drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, she helps clients understand how past experiences and relationship patterns continue to influence their present lives. She also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and practical coping strategies. Her background in social work allows her to view clients through a systemic lens, recognizing the impact of family, culture, relationships, and larger social systems on wellbeing. Clients often describe her as warm, approachable, and someone who brings a sense of lightness into the room.

Kirstie Amores, AMFT
Kirstie earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu. She has clinical experience in both private practice and community mental health settings, working with adults and children, and is especially passionate about helping people move from feeling stuck to taking meaningful action.
Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Kirstie helps clients get clear on what matters most and start building the life they want—one mindful step at a time. Her approach is collaborative, direct, and rooted in ownership. She believes therapy works best when it meets you exactly where you are, while also gently challenging you to grow.
Kirstie has experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, illness anxiety, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and major life transitions. Outside the therapy room, you can find Kirstie doing Pilates, gardening, or spending time outdoors with her two dogs.

Orion Boucher, AMFT
Orion received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music. He was raised in the Sierra Nevada mountains prior to attending undergrad in Boston. Navigating this balance of rural/urban and West/East coast has informed his outlook on life and in therapy.
His therapeutic training provided experience with school-based youth and adolescents, supporting parents and adults, and conducting family sessions. His work is informed by depth psychology, the Jungian framework, family systems approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Orion feels that creative practices such as music, art, movement, writing, and play can provide access to emotions and thoughts that may be beyond traditional words.

Cinthia Sierra Franco, LMFT
Cinthia "Cyndi" is a passionate LMFT, dedicated to empowering clients to express their needs, create space, and take up space.
Cyndi is a bilingual and bicultural therapist offering services in-person and via telehealth in English and Español. She has specific experience working with English-speaking children of Spanish-speaking parents. Her approach is tailored to individual client needs and is primarily informed by depth psychology, including psychodynamic, attachment, and family systems theories.
Cyndi has extensive clinical training and experience in community mental health and private practice, supporting clients through a range of challenges, including: life transitions and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, racial identity and social justice, and immigration challenges.
Cyndi earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Law and Society and Chicana/o Studies from UCSB. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and raised in Santa Barbara County, Cyndi applies her bicultural background to foster self-determination and autonomy in her clients.
Cyndi enjoys spontaneous adventures with her husband and their two dogs.

Sydney Todd, AMFT
Sydney received a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Development from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has received clinical training from private practice and school-based settings, to scaffold youth within various complex systems. Sydney is currently receiving Child Life education and training through the University of California, Santa Barbara’s PACE program to eventually support children in hospital based environments as a Certified Child Life Specialist.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, her clinical framework for supporting youth is grounded in Violet Oaklander’s Gestalt approach, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Family Systems Theory. Sydney feels strongly about providing guidance through early intervention and prevention to support both children and their parents.
She enjoys moving her body through hiking and trail running, spending time in the ocean, and creating art for herself.

Felisa Speitel, AMFT
Felisa earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming. She has experience working with teens, young adults, and moms, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity exploration.
Felisa is a trauma-informed, person-centered therapist who places each individual’s needs, values, and lived experiences at the heart of her work. She believes in creating a collaborative and compassionate space where clients are active participants in their healing and personal growth. Her clinical approach integrates elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative, and somatic practices to foster deeper self-understanding and connection.
Felisa’s background spans both private practice and community mental health settings, allowing her to bring warmth, depth, and flexibility to her work with diverse populations. Outside of her professional life, she finds grounding in nature and enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Rocko.

Walter Liss, APCC
Walter’s diverse educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Master in Theological Studies, and a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Systems. This interdisciplinary foundation allows him to help clients explore present-day challenges while gaining deeper insight into the emotional, relational, spiritual, and personal patterns that influence their lives. When meaningful to the client, he may incorporate depth psychology through dreams, symbols, spirituality, faith, and other creative approaches to support growth and self-discovery. He provides a respectful, culturally responsive therapeutic environment that honors each person’s unique background, values, and lived experience. As a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® practitioner, he can also integrate personality assessment as a tool for increasing self-awareness and strengthening relationships.
Walter works with adults, older teens, and couples, helping clients navigate life transitions, relationship and family challenges, career and vocational questions, burnout, health concerns, sobriety, and periods of uncertainty. He is passionate about helping clients develop greater self-understanding and practical insight so they can make more intentional choices, overcome longstanding patterns, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.
Jasjit Adlakha, MD
Dr. Adlakha is the Medical Director of Insight Therapy. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM. He has trained and practiced all over the world, including London, Vietnam, New York, Florida, and California.
He is passionate about health and wellness, golf, dogs and swimming.
